The Candle Shoppe has its own candle factory, known as Tonia Wax Industries (Pvt) Ltd. It is the Fernando family business and a sacred art. The factory is located in Negombo, a short distance from the Bandaranaike International Airport. It has been in operation for the past 30 years, expanding with the tourist and trade industry. Currently our main clientele include leading hotel chains, restaurants, spa's and gift shops, locally and in the Maldives.
Over the years the Fernando's have mastered the art of candle making with a local flavour. The passion, effort, time and energy put into its creations is what makes these hand made and hand crafted candles unique in its quality and style. |
